Is it just me – or is this connected world we are part of make life feel as though things go quicker. Obviously time stays the same, ticking away one second at a time, but we seem to be able to do soo much more. Staying in touch with friends, family, work, acquaintances, local news, global news and the list could just go on and on.
Even with a philosophy to do some specific breathing exercises every day I sometimes just feel “I don’t have the time” I’ll do it tomorrow. Yet this is the best time and most important time that I have to haul my backside out of bed and spend 3-4 minutes…….……slowing down…………...allowing my mind to control my breathing……………...feel the movement of my muscles………………..…as I become mindful of the moment I’m in.
I don’t always succeed in getting out of bed to breathe and move – but I know I feel better when I do. Give it a try – use my video as a guide or movements from tai chi, yoga or your own mix.
Make it your small change. 3-5 minutes a day. Give it a go for a month and it might even become a habit you’ll keep.
